The Hungry Tree

Today my Woodland Management Group had a day off - it was the Leader's birthday and who wants to work on their birthday. So no work today and we were taken a 5 mile walk around Speldhurst to admire the bluebells.

The railings and the sign in the picture must have been here for a very long time and there is no way any vehicles can get anywhere near it, let alone go past it. If you want to see the bluebells behind the tree click here

It was sunny all day and I wore shorts for the first time. Its on days like this that I know taking early retirement was not a mistake.
