Chirpie chirpie cheep cheep!

Spotted this wee chap in the garden about ten minutes ago, he flapped his wings briefly and hopped in a half hearted attempt to take cover as the boys headed for the car. I watched him for a few minutes just in case he has injured (though I wouldn't really know what to do!) I think he is just newly out the nest as his wings seem to be operating, just juvenile clumsiness.
I did watch a very industrious blackie a couple of weeks ago gathering every grub, worm and beastie in the garden and I wonder if this is one of the off spring, anyway good luck to him I will keep an eye out for him as there is a lovely but curious cat next door!
