Wet Day Reading

What a change in the weather. Back to wrapping up warm, waterproofs and brolly. A staying inside kind of day.

After a wee browse of the magazine, I decided to get to grips with the kindle app on my new iPad. I enjoyed the recent "Shetland" series on BBC1, so downloaded one of the books, which is on a monthly deal on Amazon for 99p (probably ends at midnight tonight). I've decided I quite like the Page Turn Animation feature, and sepia background effect. I bit disconcerting to find a note bottom left of the screen about how much time it will take to finish the book - 6 hrs and 51 mins. I wonder how long it will really take - weeks I expect.
