It's day 5 of the Haltwhistle Walking Festival.

Today I joined in with Spring Lambs and Farmhouse Tea. Yes, that's 2 days in a row when I have been stuffed full of wonderful sandwiches, savouries, scones and cakes. There were only a few lambs in the barn; most of the lambing is over with only about 3 sheep left to lamb indoors.

It was a good walk although the mist never lifted and the rain became quite heavy as the day went on. It is still raining heavily now.

Tonight was the Photo Evening called "Walking in Northumberland". I presented a compilation of photos supplied by a lot of walkers and photographers. It went down well with lots of laughs.

I am so tired tonight I think I could sleep in late, but I have a walk to lead in the morning.
