The Church of St. Nicholas and St. Teilo

On Christmas Eve the church in the village has a evening service for the children to be involved in. It's wonderful. As the story of the Nativity is read out the children (who have been given the figures before the service) place the shepherds, wise men, animals, Mary, Joseph around the manger when they are mentioned. At the end the vicar asks the children if they have any toys they would like to add to the scene. There were none this yesterday, but there was one memorable year where the baby Jesus was also guarded by a giraffe, a My Little Pony and a t-rex that was twice the height of the stable.
