Morning Dove
So today was a good day.
This afternoon I went out to check on My Baby to see how she was doing. When I went in she was looking at me kind of funny. Of course that picture is not this picture. I did not realize it until I looked closely at this picture. If you look closely you can see how intricately woven this nest is and how she fits perfectly in it. Go figure. Birds were the first weavers before man (interesting fact) I did not know it until now but did you know that every bird has its own unique way of making a home. Some do it in trees others in bushes and even in peoples homes. This is fascinating I always have admired birds of all species but this one is just captivating. I guess because she is so near to me that I can really see how they live.
My Aunt Jean told me when I showed her the picture that we should give her a name. I said what name suits her. She turned to me and said Lady Rose. What a perfect name for such a proud dove. I have grown attached to her.
So after the pictures of Lady Rose I went out looking for more interesting things to capture and I found them. A whole bunch of flowers, plants and bushes, of course it had to be raining, yet again.
I saw a good friend of my Dad's blip for the day, and guess what, she bliped a robin. I guess today is the day for the birds. I am so happy she told me about blipfoto because it gives me something to do and enjoy
Today was a cool day in the morning but then went to rain, blah but I had fun doing photo shoots on my short walk. Lets hope tomorrow being the first of May brings new life and warmth to the cold earth.
