First seedlings

Not my best ever pic but wanted to record this year's first veg seedlings. I learned about growing veg from my Grampa when I was wee…he made me my own small plot, complete with its own mini compost heap!

He used to say you can't be a gardener unless you have faith in the future - wise words I think. You put those tiny seeds in the ground and hope that something will come of them…then there's that anxious couple of weeks when you go out very day to see if something has happened and finally it does.
