Snow in May..

Yes, 1st of May, and there was a covering of snow on the mountains this morning. Arkle was white all the way down the Southern facing slope, while Foinaven also had a covering. By the time I'd got the daily chores done, and got my camera out, most had gone, although there is still some on Foinaven.

Forgot to mention I heard the first Cuckoo on Monday, 28th Apr, and skeins of geese were flying North on Tuesday 29th. (making this as a mental note to myself!).

A pottering day today, while waiting for tractor bits..
