Copper Beeches

I really love these trees: the depth and layers of colour,the majestic size like some great pachyderm. No wonder Tolkien's imagination created complex entities. I greet them like friends. I'm so blest to have then a few steps from my door.
I'm stiff, grumbling this morning, so am easy day : a haircut and Jane calling in.
