Where I Live

Hello May.

I have decided to spend this month on a project depicting various aspects of where I live. I spend most of my time in the beautiful little country town of Bridgewater, Connecticut. Nestled in the northwest hills, Bridgewater is a farming community on the east bank of the Housatonic River.

This picture shows one of our old barns with the sign telling people they've arrived at Wayside Farm -- our home. In the foreground, you can see the magnolia tree in bloom, despite the miserable wet, cold weather we continue to endure.
