The Fair Maid of Perth

The Fair Maid of Perth is looking rather sad and chilled ! She's the protoganist of a novel by Sir Walter Scott. Here she is seated on a bench at one end of Perth's High Street, sculpture by Graham Ibbeson. It wasn't really the weather for bare feet though, as you can probably see. That was the reason why we were in Perth, we needed to stock up on food and clothes and since the weather wasn't very promising, instead of walking we did some shopping down town. It is starting to look a little better now, so we might still do a walk later.
