King Of The Lake

I had a dental appointment in Cardiff this morning. Cardiff has the most green space of any of the UK's cities, and one of the largest and best known in Cardiff is Roath Park with also has an enormous lake.

Despite the rain, my initial plan was to capture the Scott Lighthouse memorial from the opposite end of the lake. It's about half a mile, and I did manage it. However, I took some of the swans, even ones taking off, but the blip one I liked best as it is unusual in that's it's from the rear, and the swan has made a heart shape with it's wings. I also like the colours of the reflections.
