Pomeranian

This little Pomeranian lives in the neighbourhood and she looks as if she wears a constant smile! No wonder this breed is popular. Queen Victoria owned a particularly small Pomeranian and consequently, during her lifetime, the breed was downsized by 50%. However, despite all this breeding for smallness they are in the main sturdy, healthy dogs and what an appealing look they have! There was a slatted fence between us and I grabbed this shot by using the wide angle setting and poking the lens through the gap as she boldly advanced to investigate. She would not have done this a couple of weeks ago. She must be getting the message that me and my camera are not too threatening!
