up close

My camera club challenge this month is Up close and personal so I thought I would walk round the estate and break out the macro lens.
Here on flickr are 6 more shots.
As the month goes on I hope to improve but I see the advantage of getting a ring flash for this kind of photography.

Any advice welcome on that front
