9.9C starting dull and damp then brightening through the afternoon. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. The potato planting in the field with the bridle path has been completed and neat ridges are in place.

Down on the beach the tide was well out. There was one dog walker. As we walked along towards the fishermen's huts the sky was beginning to show some blue. With the tide out I was able to get out on the rocks and get a close shot for my first picture of the new boat moored in the channel in the rocks. It is still showing the registration number from Broadford.
