Santa's been Here! and . . .

. . . and look what he left us -- Wow!

We woke this morning and found this figurine, next to it a Bible was opened to the little New Testament letter to the Philippian church with chapter 2 verse 10 highlighted . . . "at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth . . ." We stared at each other and then noticed . . .

. . . in the background our iPod was softly playing the "Hallelujah Chorus" and a note next to the iPod read "Turn it up -- bust the knob off!" Santa knows we were once "rock 'n rollers" and that "once a rock 'n rocker always a rock 'n roller." So we turned up the volume and we kneeled and we worshiped and then we rocked out!

We think Santa knows something that lots of people overlook. He knows the reason for the season.

Then we read the blip by Hues from the Far Side and we were reminded of the freedom we have in our nation to worship and the tremendous privilege that the church gives to all peoples.

We are thoroughly enjoying this most wondrous holiday. We are especially enjoying seeing the holiday from the lives of all our Blipfoto friends -- whether you believe in Santa or Jesus or not, it has been insightful and a joy to view the pages of Blipfoto.
