Life through the lens...

By ValC

Raindrops on tulips.

In spite of the cold, wet, windy weather, it has been a much better day for me!
The raindrops do add to the lovely tulip photo though. A quick shot taken in the garden, before the lens got wet!

I rang Dewsbury hospital to see if I could make an appointment with the Audiology Department to have the "life tubes" replaced in my hearing aids, as I thought they weren't quite as clear as they were when I first got them nearly 6 months ago.
They made an appointment for me for 3pm this afternoon, and by 3.15pm I had been examined,, new tubes fitted, new batteries given to last 3 months, and we were driving home!!
Now that's what I call good service!!

Still haven't sorted out a new cooker!( Many thanks for all your comments and advice.)
I sent an email to Domestic and General with my complaints about the useless cooker and their poor service. Haven't had an acknowledgement or reply!

But today the positives outweigh the negatives, so I'm very happy!

Also I bought a book from the second hand book stall at the hospital for £1.
"Losing You" by Nicci French. Hope I like it!

Oh and the weather forecast for tomorrow is good!

To all the French blippers Bonne Fete du Muguet. See my last years blip HERE
