Camilla Singh: Uniforms for Non-Uniform Work
This is part of a new exhibition at AGYU (The Art Gallery of York University). These are two figures (life masks and casts) of gallery staff and students set in themes that represent their work and/or personality. You can read more here.
I took this mobile phone image to play with the installation. The foreground image kind of looks like it is casting nasty magic on the background image (which emulates the famous Maxell audio cassette advertising). The figure at right's big red bow starts a long train about 15m long that goes up to the ceiling and into the next room.
