Miserable May Day

May started miserably. The weather was awful, the traffic was awful, I just made it to the station on time to discover my train had been cancelled. Drat! Two buses later and I eventually got to the event I was attending with about a minute to spare. Whew! Not a great start to the day.

Interesting event on digital public services, made even more interesting by trams going past one side of the building and trains the other – including a steam train at one point late morning (that could have been such a good blip). You can tell I was a little distracted from time to time!

As the rain had gone off, I walked back to the office early afternoon. Caught up on a few bits and pieces and now I am off till Tuesday. I do like May with it’s bank holidays. The evening has turned out to be the best part of the day.

I took my blip on my way back to the office. These buildings also feature in this blip. The buildings on the left were covered in scaffolding then. It's lovely to see the fresh green leaves emerging.
