Flower bed

In the back yard at work we have a large, creepy spider! I planned to overcome my arachnophobic tendencies and take a Macro of it tonight. But I took this shot of flowers in case I chickened out! I think maybe it chickened out as, when I went out to look for it it was nowhere to be found! Will try again tomorrow...maybe!

Of course I have no clue what these flowers are! They grow in the flower beds by the war memorial in town!
