"Pequeña Gelato Por Favor"
After a full two days of traveling from small town Moncton through Belgium and into Sevilla, my dedication to create a photo food blog was put to the test. From airplane food to Starbucks my first day of travel was less than the epitome of cultural cuisine. However after a nice quick meal in a local plaza, there was time for the one and only: gelato. Hence, my first "meal" in the mosaic culture of Sevilla is yes indeed, ice cream. Italian (also apparently Spanish), dark, rich, double chocolate and velvety smooth ice cream to be exact. And I wouldn't have had it any other way. Working on my Spanish, I struggle through ordering alone and focusing extremely hard on not placing a French twist to the term chocalata. This gelato was the perfect form of sustenance to keep me intrigued and hopeful for what the next meals have to offer.
