Food Bank

At Yjam this evening we asked the children to bring a tin donation rather than there usual 50p.

The tins are for the Seaton Food Bank, which distributes food to needy individuals and families in and around Aberdeen.

We were astonished by how many tins arrived on the night, and over 90 were donated. We even had tins donated from children who couldn't make the session, but wanted to make a contribution.

Audrey, the leaders and myself were all totally blown away by the generosity of the Mums, Dads and children. Their kindness will mean that for some of those who are less fortunate than ourselves will for a short time eat slightly better.

Thanks to everybody who came tonight, you helped make a good day great.
