Industrial Accident in George Square?

It wasn't obvious what this guy was cleaning up in George Square, but it seemed serious enough to get all kitted up with overalls and goggles, and a whole area was cordoned off.

Perhaps Glasgow City Council are still a bit house-proud of the new surface in the Square, and they were making sure it was spotless for the Commonwealth Games.

Anyway, I'll go back tomorrow and I'll expect it to be nothing less than 100% clean.
