How the world differs! 2 Very special outfits.

Today I went with a friend to buy her Mother of the groom outfit.
We successfully found a gorgeous but expensive dress and shoes in the first shop,however we spent the rest of the day looking, "just in case" but returned to the original.
She deserves the best for a very special occasion that she never thought she would see.

This evening I finished another very special outfit.
This is a knitted small jumper for what are called fish n chip babies in Africa.
Apparently these newborn babies, many suffering from aides, are being called fish n chip babies because they are being sent home from hospital wrapped in newspaper for warmth.
The pattern was given to me by a friend and it has cost me nothing to make as I used up scraps of wool.

Both outfits will be used on such special occasions and both wearers are very special people.
