Was it worth it?

Almost a year ago this month, when I was in my first flush of blipdom, I photographed this building as scaffolding was being erected around it. In all the time since, I have never seen anyone working on it and just today I noticed the scaffolding had disappeared just as quickly as it has gone up. There seems to be absolutely no difference to the exterior of the building apart from brand new shuttering on the windows.

Perhaps there has been a lot going on inside that no one knows about. I'd be interested to know just what happened to it so I don't need to pause for reflection.
