It's Not About the Bird!

We were blessed again with a mostly grey and rainy day. I took this shot while looking out my window as the rain had stopped and it was clearing up. I noticed the robin on the rooftop and thought the tree buds framed it nicely. After putting it on the computer, I realized that the buds still had droplets of rain on them and they were so sharp and clear with the softness of the robin in the distance. I knew then that this blip is not about the bird as much as the budding leaves on the first day of May! We did get some bright sun late in the afternoon. By 9:30 pm, I noticed lightning out there. As I am posting this at 10:40 pm, it is thundering, too!
