Voila! Siu Yook

By popular request I am including a photo of the finished product which was initially featured on April 29.

Here it is: moist, succulent, tender, juicy, oozing with flavor roast pork belly, or siu yook, as they'd say in Cantonese. The top did not turn out quite as crispy crunchy as I would've liked, but other than that, I really can't complain.

Served atop a bed of chicken-flavored Jasmine rice, with steamed veggies, it was consumed in no time, and washed down with an ice cold beer on this unusually warm spring day.

Now for a nice, long evening walk!
