Walkways 2

Another back blip and the 2nd of my walkways series.

This is Willoughby Walkway. It's a fairly typical Barbican scene, lots of concrete and harsh regular lines. As this part of the walkway is outside there's an attempt at softening by adding some containers of plants. This shot looks north, giving a view of newer office blocks behind. To get the full flavour, imagine the noise of construction sites....

Just around the corner, the walkway is largely under cover and punctuated by huge concrete pillars, so there's no visibility along the route. The floor is dusty as well and there's a deserted feel to the place, even though it's a route to Moorgate tube.
