"Get out!!!"

I knew there'd be trouble.
There are some jackdaws that nest in the chimneypots of the houses at the bottom of my garden. I have been living here for about 27 years and they've been my feathered neighbours all that time.They have been taking nesting material into the pots for a few weeks and there could be chicks by now.
This afternoon the pair of woodpigeons that frequent my garden decided to investigate the nest on the left in the photo. The jackdaws spotted them, shot in and ejected the pigeons in no uncertain manner. I have some shots of the jackdaw pecking the pigeon as it flew away. That will teach them to mess with jackdaws!
