Why did the hare cross the road...?

So, we were slowly driving along down a country lane, passing through a small hamlet towards our usual deer blip hunting ground, when a hare jumped out of nowhere right in front of us and nonchalantly crossed the road. Of course I wasn't expecting to see a hare at that moment, and my camera was off with the lens cap still on, so I took a while to get ready, wind down the window and focus on him! By that time he'd decided it was probably best not to stick around and was running off towards the fields behind the houses. So I didn't get my 'dream' hare shot, but still he has to be blipped... Today I offer you the wonderful view of the back end of a hare!
