COOL LITTLE SEVEN SPOT

There are lots of ladybirds on the nettles suddenly - that can't be bad can it?
Well, the dreaded Harlequin is heading our way apparently. Since 2004 they have been marching from East Anglia and Kent and reached us in West Dorset long before 2010 - not bad given their size! Anyway, I am relieved to see that this one, and his many companions today, were good ol' common-or-garden 7 spot ladybirds. Phew, that felt close.
