Plaits

Since I've changed the days I work, today was the first Friday at home, and it was lovely.

After depositing the eldest at school, little Miss E and I had chores, which included her new lets pretend game of playing hairdressers of all things, then it was off to the local library for reading and singing for a toddler session they do Fridays. It's been a very very long time since I went to one of these, so I was looking forward to it. However, after reading lots of books patiently waiting for it to start, with some other mums, who were also starting to find inventive ways to stop their own toddler climbing and pulling books of shelves...we had been waiting quite some time now...only to be told by a random mum who just appeared that it wasn't on. Nice of the library staff to tell us, who saw us all sitting there. Tut tut.

Anyways, little Miss E must have been extremely tired after her first full week at Pre school as she slept for 3 hours this afternoon! It was lovely as I managed to catch up on much needed sleep too. Had to call upon a friend to bring Munckin 1 home rather than wake her up.

After piano lessons, a huge plate of the kids favourite, homemade macaroni cheese, and a spot of Peter Pan.

So today's Blip is a lazy one of Little Miss E's plaits, I love messing with her crazy hair. Even in plaits it's still wild!
