Goodnight
After the chores, it was off to the allotment. The allotment is at the bottom of the garden. And it isn't really an allotment, just the raised bed with veg growing in it. And there is no-one keeking over the fence to check on progress.
The greenhouse was transformed from its spring state to its summer state. This meant largely dealing with plant pots. Each has been part of some plant's journey and I can't bring myself to throw any out. A consequence of that reluctance is that I have loads of plants pots. Thousands.
But I was strong today and developed a strategy - arbitrarily I determined that black square ones could stay while the rest could be dumped. Except for the round 3" ones which are particularly useful. And the larger ones because they can be expensive if I should ever need to buy any. And there were some nice colourful ones worth keeping. And some terracotta coloured ones in pristine condition. Apart for that, they could go in the rubbish bag.
The bag was quickly filled and is in a corner of the allotment. Maybe I'll leave it there for a while. Just in case.
Meantime, the courgette flower went to sleep.
