Chimney Rock

I had forgotten just how vertiginous the drop down to the Undercliff footpath is - a stick and wellingtons would have been very sensible! It isn't possible to walk the Undercliff at the moment as the land at the Axmouth end is unstable.
I met a met with an adorable black 18-month old dog. For a brief second I was almost tempted into thinking that a dog might be fun - fortunately good sense overcame that thought. I liked his owner.
I walked on and went down to Church Beach which, as is so often the case, I had to myself. I love this beach.
