Feather selection

"To take shots of things in the house or garden but from different angles and very, very close up." - Anni's challenge, day 4.

Bit of a hectic day, which became more fraught late afternoon when my phone, which has been playing up for a while, dramatically gave up the ghost. I ended up without much time this evening to spend on my blip, but luckily Rachael had spotted this feather (yes, it's a bit too obvious for playing "guess what this is?" ! :D) in the garden, and knowing I was looking for interesting macro subjects, brought it in.

I have no idea how it and the pigeon came to part company.
