success at last

This is the best capture of a bird I have managed so far. I'd been sitting having a snack when this chaffinch came along and was happy to run around seeing what crumbs he could find to eat. Luckily I had my camera near by as I had been photographing plants. I couldn't believe how relaxed he appeared around us.

Birds usually fly off at the slightest movement, even when I'm behind a glass window. Perhaps he was hungry.
