Bogota Bike Tour

Today is international workers day - lots of protests and marches in town. We got the bus into the centre and had a walk around before getting on bikes and taking a bike tour of the city! We went through the city cycling round the main sights, the parks, stadiums, old barrios and back streets of Bogota. The tour guide took us across red lights - down one way streets (against the traffic flow) and through major 6 lane junctions where the traffic lights were broken!! It was fab way to see the city and a good job we are all competent bikers ;-) !!! It was really interesting to see the extensive network of cycle paths around the city and the tour guide explained some of the graffiti art.
