Bee fly

Bombylius Major or the bee fly , this strange creature is quite amusing it looks very much like a bumble bee with a long proboscis . This one was hovering around over patches of bare earth and laying its eggs as it kept hovering perfectly just a few millimeters above the ground It wasnt bothered by my attention and carried on regardless .
