Homeward bound
Today was an early start (5am) so that I could be round at a friends place (6am) to go fishing on Lake Benmore which was about 3 hrs away.
The weather turned on a brilliant day ( was a bit chilly at the start as it was 1degree Celsius when we got there) but after a cup of hot coffee we set of in search of an elusive trout to catch. Sadly we didn't catch anything worth writing about but the day was a cracker with no wind and not too hot either. The lake stayed perfectly clam all day which properly didn't help the catch rate but we did get to see lots of fish in the shallow water at the head of the lake.
I took this shot on the way back to the boat ramp towards the end of the day.
