Blavatsky

Finishing these was one of Thursday night’s jobs. I just got a quick picture this morning before I cleared them off the dining room table so that Beck can do her homework. TheoreticallyMadame Blavatsky is the first in a series – ‘Famous Faces from the Occult’ – somewhat in the PG Tips card style of Peter Blake’s wrestlers from the sixties but she ended up being a bit of faff so the rest (Anton LeVey, Alistair Crowley and H. P. Lovecraft so far) might end up staying in the sketchbook for a while. Still, the feedback so far has been very good – Beck said it was possibly my best print yet despite having absolutely no interest in the subject matter at all…

Music-wise, we’re probably back in safer territory today – Norwegian Indie-pop, anyone…!?
