Into the vortex.....

Thank you so much for all your kind comments and stars on my two recent pics that made the spotlight. Very exciting!

Cold and crisp today...winter is on it's way.
The wind was blowing and it had quite a bite. Standing on the rocky headland there was a definite pull into the swirling vortex as each wave washed out and the water washed its way down into the sinkhole.
I had fun playing with zooming during the exposure but the results were fairly "artsy".....and unimpressive. Obviously more technique needed there :)
The boys played around the rock pools nearby and the poor pup stayed in the car as we had not been to this beach before and didn't realise it was a "No Dogs" zone!
Poor Jasper! Lucky his two legged pets worried over him and made frequent visits back to the car although we didn't really stay out long in the cold in any case. We left the sunset in time to collect middle son from a birthday party , then headed straight home for hot home made pumpkin soup with warm tiger loaf. Great way to warm up!
