Autumn in Ashburton

Went to Ashburton Gardens today with 5 other NPS members for the autumn colours. We were well rewarded. the ducks have all migrated to the pond for safety as duck shooting season started this weekend...they're not silly.. they come to town.
Also found some very nice straight leafless trees and we all played with slow shutter speeds and got some really great shots. had a lovely lunch and made our way home in the footy traffic.
