Copper Top
After three days of traveling we are back in Zihuatanejo and back to the routine of living. When most people come to Zihua they are on vacation and therefore live that way while here. To us, this is home and with that goes the everyday tasks of living in any country; shopping, errands, maintenance, and favors for those not around. We were asked to check the installation of a new, 4-meter long copper countertop in our friend's apartment. We had unpacked it the day before we left and upon our return find it in place atop the new cabinets they had installed just prior to leaving. It is absolutely beautiful, a solid sheet of reclaimed, hand-finished copper to which this photo, unfortunately, does not do justice. RaspberryJefe, however, will be happy to see it in place and looking good!
