Inside the Magnolia

On my recent walks around the neighborhood, I've noticed next door's magnolia trees forming blossoms and knew that would be an upcoming blip. There are many buds, but most of them are way too high up. Today was the day I managed to find one at a "photographer's eye view".

I love the creamy white, fragrant blossoms but I don't think many people look inside this chamber view. It somehow reminded me of a lotus.
