Sparky's Bridge

This is a familiar site to the the dog walkers who live around our way. Sparky's bridge was put in place in memory of Sparky, our local hotel owners Terrier. It is here to provide a crossing point over Strathburn which is a little stream that gives our area its name onto the local park.

It brings back very many happy memories of our Marie who when she crossed this bridge knew she was going to meet up with her pals for hours of fun. It has not changed over many years and has not been damaged or vandalised. Sometimes change is good but in this instance I think not.
