Blue Pool
Today we visited Blue Pool, a former clay pit that was dug out by hand around 400 years ago, then abandoned to be naturally filled with rainwater. The pool changes colour from shades of green to deep turquoise and the photos I took today really show how different in colour it can look through the day.
The Blue Pool is a really tranquil place to visit, the tearooms are very quaint and today when we sat in the courtyard it was such a little sun trap.
A truly beautiful place for blippers to visit, plenty of blip opportunities, whether it be the pool, the trees, the flowers or the dragonflies.
Here's my blog with more photos - oh and Blue Pool is very inexpensive to visit £5.50 for an adult ticket and under 5's are free.
