Hardown Hill and Golden Cap

We visited two gardens today, Forde Abbey and the tulips are at their best. The Abbey is family owned and you can tell that they love the garden, all areas of the garden are well kept and a joy to walk round and they even welcome dogs!

Next we visited Bicton Park, the write up on it made it sound amazing......we were not impressed, certain parts of the garden we well kept, others were not! They also welcomed dogs but charged us a £1 entry for him!

At the end of the day we walked from our Cottage to Hardown Hill, a lovely spot high above where we are staying with views to the sea and Golden Cap, lovely sunny evening! We spotted a Lamar in one field and some beautiful Belted Galloway cows on the hill.
