In the Quiet of Christmas morning

I was the first one up on Christmas morning and love sitting in the twinkling of the lights from the tree and the windows. The quietness of the early morning just added to the beauty. Within a few hours everyone else was up and by mid-afternoon we had much excitement as other family arrived for gift opening and a wonderful meal together!
