Benderloch cycle track .....

....enjoying the scenery as I walked to meet my friend and her daughter. We were going to have a wee lunch to celebrate my friend's birthday and we did, it was lovely.

It was when my friend realised she didn't have her car and house key that the panic began! We retraced her steps, dropped her daughter off to walk back as we headed to cover the first leg of the journey to see if the keys were still in the car door - sadly they were not there!

We decided to carry on back to cover the whole route. I then reached down and my hand touched upon something unfamiliar to me in my pocket - it was the keys and I had no idea they were there!!


My friend had put some dog treats in my pocket so the dogs wouldn't spot them and put her keys in with them without realising! The dog treats fell out of my pocket and I put them on the table so when the missing keys were being searched for I never thought to look in my pocket and my friend didn't realise she had put them there.

So all the time we were asking folk as we walked and trying to think what on earth could have happened I had them all along!! My friend said my face was a picture when I discovered them. I just could not understand how they could possibly have got there!

So she will not forget her birthday this year! We were all just so relieved we had found them that we couldn't stop laughing !!
