get off my post

It's been grey all day. Chilly too. I worked in the garden for most of the morning - just general tidying up. Got really cold so had a bowl of soup for lunch, put my down jacket on (yes, I know it's May) and walked to the lake.

I watched as children fed the ducks, small boats and canoes came into shore and visitors headed to the pier for lake cruises. At the same time I had an eye on the gulls that kept landing and taking off from these jetty posts. Struck lucky with this shot.
